DIARIES

I write my memories from the first time I had to leave my country due to the violence in Colombia when I was 16 y.o. in an attempt to write my own story with the same ink used to write the story of the world.

Using the collected NYtimes, I cut out the letters in consecutive order of what I am writing, and then glue them to a white piece of paper.

The newspaper is presented with a lightbulb in front of it in order to reflect (and shed light to) the absence of the letters (used to write the memories) in the wall behind. The text can me read through the absence of each letter or on the piece of paper where the letters where glued at, located in front.
