I collected the New York Times from the moment I moved to New York city, until I moved out. This tower became evidence of the days lived in the city and as it accumulated (the past) and starting taking up volume, the space it occupied took over the space that I had to exist in, in the present. The rubber ball comes from the bands the newspaper came wrapped around with.
